Emergency Mobile Technologies:
It was about a year ago that Anne Metzger, your National Sales Director, stopped at our office to discuss ambulance remoutns, chassis or modular box repairs and generally inquire about our future needs for dependable ambulances. At that time I shared that we would be looking to remount one of our older modular units at the end of 2010 budget year.
When fall arrived, your sales director contacted me and put me in contact with Mr. Jim Hoffman, who worked continually over the next several months in assisting us with being able to remount an older modular box on a new 2011 Chevy chassis. The professionalism I received from your staff was evident in the trips they made to my office early in the decision making process while we looked at all our options. Later on I was provided updates on the work on almost a daily basis and each time there was a decision to make, I was immediately contacted to give input and direction on what would work best for our system.
Probably the most important part of this new ambulance project was the trust that developed with the monetary amounts given during the estimates and bidding processes. From past history, I was continually concerned that the final price and the quoted bid amount would be thousands of dollars different. There were a couple of hidden problems found in the modular box during the remount that increased the price by less than $600.00, and each of those changes were approved by me before the work was completed. I still find it hard to believe that the prices I was given at the start of the project were the prices I paid when the process was complete. That is amazing stuff in this day of shady business practices almost everywhere you look.
The ambulance has been in-service for about one month now and our employees love it. They love the comfort of the new chassis and can't believe it handles great in all weather conditions. The new emergency lighting is the talk of all the public safety personnel in our community and the excellent paint and decal work on the "old" box make it shine just like new.
The County Commissioners are thrilled that I have been able to work toward updating our fleet of ambulances at a savings of about 35% less than purchasing a new ambulance. On tat basis, we figure every third or fourth ambulance we refurbish and remount is free compared to buying new each time.
Within the next 12-16 months, our system is going to need another new ambulance and you can be certain that I will be looking to Emergency Mobile Technologies for prices, options and solutions to meet the needs of Williams County Emergency Medical Services.
Sincerely,
Jim Hicks, Executive Director

We do one remount every year or two and we have used a couple different
facilities to do our remounts. Emergency Mobile Technologies can and did do an
outstanding job our latest remount.
They were courteous, timely, priced exceptional and the quality was top notched.
When we do our next remount they will surely be a top runner in the bid process.
If anyone needs a reference you may have them give us a call anythime.
